Because HCG doubles every 48 hours, you really should be comparing 10dpo tests to 8dpo tests to see line progression. Line progression in 24 hours won't be as noticeable.

I’m not one to pretend to see a line, and I had to pause, blow the pic up, and squint to see yesterday’s test. Today I could see it super easily so I think it’s getting darker.

I googled it and a normal hcg for 9dpo is only 4! So being at 8 isn’t bad!
