We draw our own labs and as a new grad I had a seasoned RN decide to help by doing my draws. She filled the lav tube first and then I had to explain to her she had to redraw the rest of the blood….

As a Lab tech myself. There is a big difference, and it's because of the additive in each tube. Provides very different results.
