Been a hammer main for 15 years and so far i hate the changes 😭 running charge into spinning was useful and i hate the keeping sway dodge.

Another thing to note, when you strike a wound you can start charging the hammer during the combo allowing you to go right into a stronger attack

You should not be using the big bang combo often. Typically you only use it on trapped/stunned monsters. An active Mon will never let you get all hits off unpunished.

as a hammer main I love the new changes but I'm so going to miss the wire bugs moves from rise. the flying straight up into the air and then slamming back down was one of the coolest things ever

You forgot a very important change! The upswing can be delayed by holding (y/triangle) and counts as an offset attack (basically a counter)
