The 3rd floor was crazy! 😳 backstory ::: I surprised Kay with a fun place to stay for Mother’s Day weekend, and she was so excited! I found this place and it was really expensive, I thought I’d try and ask for a discount because the worst thing they could say was no, and they said yes! So I was able to book this place for Kay! It was so neat because it has an elevator, heated bathroom floors, and other fun things that Kay and I have never seen before! When we got here initially, Kay was so excited. We got to the stairs and was confused when I said that I didn’t have to carry Ellie up the stairs! She opened the door behind her and was amazed that this house had its own elevator! 😂 We rode it up to the 2nd floor and she checked out the bedroom! She thought the bed was really soft, and she was so excited to sleep in it. Then we went up to the 3rd floor, and when the doors opened, her eyes lit up! The room was huge and it had a kitchen and living room and so much natural light! I am so excited that I was able to talk down the price of this place and surprise Kay with it for Mother’s Day! We aren’t used to nice things like this, because we didn’t come from money or backgrounds where things like this was possible for us! So experiencing it now is that much more rewarding! Ellie thought it was pretty funny looking! 😂 backstory ::: Kay has been struggling with hair thinning since she had Ellie. It’s common for women to have hair loss and thinning during and after pregnancy, it’s also common to have hair loss happen with her autoimmune condition, so she has been trying different things to keep her hair healthy. One thing she wanted to try was this hair thing. She wraps it around this thing and then it curls her hair without heat! She was so excited about it and went on and on about how she had been watching videos about it, and how she couldn’t wait to see how it turned out, because it always looked amazing on other girls. Well, the time came to take it off, and she started to have a little trouble. First it wouldn’t come off of her hair. Then, when she finally got it off, it looked… not how she expected. The curls were there, but it wasn’t the look that she was going for 😂 She was a little bummed about it, but also thought it was a fun experiment to try! I thought it looked fine! But maybe I’m not as educated in what looks good with curls and what doesn’t! 😂 Maybe she will try again and wrap it differently to see if that helps! ❤️ #kayandtayofficial #couples #relationships #pregnant #postpartum

That was Ellie’s first time doing whatever that was at the end! 😂🤣 backstory ::: It’s our last day at this home that we rented for the weekend, and Kay has been having an amazing time relaxing! This was her Mother’s Day getaway, and so I tried to do everything that Kay wanted for the weekend! She just wanted to relax and not do much, so that’s what we did! She stayed in pajamas all day and we watched movies and hung out! At one point, Kay was walking around with Ellie showing her things for the first time! 😂 She was showing her the most random stuff, but then I started feeling like maybe the stuff that she was showing was things that she wanted! 😂 She kept being very obvious when she’d point things out to Ellie, like a mixer, espresso machine, and heated bathroom floors! 😂 Ellie seemed to enjoy walking around and at the end of the adventure through the house, she did the funniest thing 🤣 I’m so glad that Kay had an enjoyable getaway, and got to relax for a few days! #kayandtayofficial #couples #relationships #pregnant #postpartum
