Flaps offer more safety due to lower stall speed, less flaps helps cut through a strong headwind. It’s good to practice landing with all series of flaps

When flying a cirrus they have standard takeoff and landing flaps settings. In my 182 I hardly ever land with more than 20° of flaps. That’s her sweet spot.

Also you need to consider the different pitch with flaps/no flaps. On big airplanes you avoid small/no flaps settings because pitch would be too high and make more difficult to see the runway, as well

You neglected to say that flaps give you better visibility in the flare. Also flaps allow the pilot to land at a much slower speed which is much safer.

Full flaps offert safety, your landing speed is 1,3 of Vso ( Vs in landing config). Don't tell people that no flaps landing is good for flight path without telling them that they should land faster

In the da-20 you don’t gotta choice there is only takeoff flaps 15 degrees and landing flaps 45 degrees

How are you supposed to have shallower trajectory if you control your descent path doing you job? Greater v/s - yes, lower thrust setting - of course, overshoot tdz - why would you?
