I would have them check for PCD (primary ciliary dyskinesia). She fits the profile perfectly. My 19 month old is being tested at the end of the month for it bc of these same symptoms.

When she had a scope, did they take biopsies? EOE runs in our family and we all have it. Have they considered it?

Has she ever had a ct scan done ? My son had a CT scan done for his heart ( he has heart problems ) and they just happened to find during that CT that he has tracheal rings which increases ..

my son had basically the same results. he was always getting sick. once we thickened fluids it has helped heaps.

So she could’ve been aspirating & her swallowing is improving. I would look into feeding therapy. They can help w/ the residual food. Keep working w/ ENT & pulmonology until you have all the answers!

Going through this with my daughter. Same symptoms. Tons of tests with no answers until finally recently. She was diagnosed with EoE and every time she would have a flare up, the aspiration started.

A swallow study is just a picture of that moment. Weakness can cause the delay and its very possible she is aspirating at different times from the weakness. Just didn’t get captured on the study.

My son has air within the vallecula and piriform sinus and very noisy breathing and we aren’t getting anywhere either. We are getting another swallow study to see if it missed anything
