@manaamatcha: Open a new tin of matcha with me!🍵 This time, I’m trying Aoarashi from Marukyu Koyamaen ✨ I’ve been wanting to try this brand for so long, and I was lucky enough to finally get my hands on it! 🙌🏻 Here are my thoughts on Aoarashi: My first impression is the colour of this matcha💚 It’s not the most vibrant green I’ve seen, but for the price point, it’s definitely great quality. I also appreciate that it comes in a sealed tin, which helps minimise the mess😆 I was so excited to try it that I completely forgot to sift the matcha🥹 But even without sifting, it froths up beautifully✨ As a latte, it’s smooth and creamy, with a hint of umami, minimal bitterness, and a sweet aftertaste. It doesn’t have a very complex flavour profile, which actually makes it a great option for beginners! I personally think that this matcha has a medium body that holds up really well in milk, making it perfect for everyday matcha lattes.
