Nah fam AirPods were innovations. They were the first headphones that were truly wireless. Vision Pro came last year was a true innovation.

Having worked in corporate marketing I’ve seen this across all industries. Innovation is suffocated in favor of predictability, sales, and marketing.

The only innovation Apple had was making computing a little more user friendly and maybe building a cool all in one PC. Also thanks for reminding me I'm old I remember watching that back then 😅

Like with Apple Vision Pro; it tries too hard to differentiate itself from other VR/AR headsets without actually innovating, so developers are better off coding apps for Meta Quest

I remember the era when there was competition amongst cell phone manufacturers. There were three or four big players and their innovation was always exciting. Sadly, that’s pretty much gone now.
