If you cut it in quarters first you can feel the core with the knife and will waste a little less. Also makes the pieces easier to handle 😉

That center core piece. You can put in some boiling water and let it sit and then you can drink it with a little bit of honey. If you’re sick it’s kind of like a natural tea for people with a cough.

Good work! I cut it straight down the center through the core in four, turn each piece on its side slide knife under the core then cut into pieces for best results. I cut fruit for Safeway for a bit.

Take the top, peel off a few layers of leaves, and propagate. Wait for the root to be like 2 inches and plant it! You’ll grow a pineapple plant. I have 2 growing and thriving right now!

People don't realize when they are buying the already cut fruit, it comes in pre-chopped. It's not fresh off the shelf it's been in that container for a couple of weeks.
