THE SHORT-STAFFED TOUR: I present to you “The Short-Staffed Tour“, I am crying as I type this besties as this is such a big milestone for me, 5 years ago I was just a little nurse who became one because I felt guilt and regret not being able to care for my grandfather who was suffering from Stage 4 Lung Cancer & Alzheimer’s Disease and when he died I decided that I want to do something in my life where I can help other people suffering and their families so they don’t have to go through the same pain and struggle my family went through alone. There’s only one profession that stick out and defined that goal for me and that is NURSING. With so much passion and dedication to this career I gave my all and more than what I could to this profession that I cared for but didn’t care for me, and so, I burnt out and as I navigate through my career during the pandemic I found myself looking for a community and a sense of belonging that I never had and I mistakenly posted a video that went viral and reached millions of eyes and garnered thousands of comments that is just full of positivity and people who thank me from sharing the truth and reality is working as a nurse and that’s when I found the community I was looking for. I continued making videos to help those who need a laugh, for those who are in pain, depressed, lonely, anxious, scared, and lost, and for those who dedicated their lives in caring and healing others. I realized that this content creation I am doing is NURSING as I nurse my colleagues who nurses and heal others. This TOUR is for you besties, I’ve taken this step because I want to see you, feel your presence, hear your laughs, and to give you guys a night to remember and laughter in a space full of people who will laugh with you, understand you and will never judge you. Every single thing about this TOUR from the trailer, to the poster, the whole show, the designs, the transitions and more are all inside my creative mind and that is the premise I made getting into this because I want you to feel, see, and know that it’s me.
