Gtube momma here ! I fought against the decision for so long , but after all it was the best / safer decision for her ! I recommend it , it’s definitely not permanent & can always be reversed !

nicu momma here! Definitely spend as much time there as you can so YOU can feed her. Sadly some nurses just get fed up trying and they just say “she won’t take her bottle”. Even tho mine would take

get the g tube, but you can keep practicing with the bottle!!! Dont feel discouraged!!!

have you tried mam bottles?? baby I fought with the nurses so hard about a gtube! now we’re home with nothing, and she’s THRIVING bc i feed her whenever she wants, the nurses can’t always do that

You can still work with her on the g tube! You can go home on a g tube and meds are so much easier!

I refused the gtube for both my 24 weekers. The hospital fought us so hard. But they came home on NGtubes. They both now have nothing!! I did not want my babies to get any more major surgeries also

I had 2 23 weekers and they both came home with a gtube, now they take bottles by mouth and don’t need the gtube only for meds sometimes. The word Brady brought back some bad memories for me.

G tube momma. My former 26 weeker was in the Nicu for 6 months. I pushed so hard against the G tube. It felt like a failure. I wish I hadn’t fought so hard she needed the tube and thrived with it.

My baby cousin had a gtube due to her having a liver transplant it was a lot BUT she’s a normal teenager now and no longer has it so trust the process!!!!!

Someone tagged me in your video. My daughter has a GTube. Shes had it a little over a year now and is 3 now. The surgery is quick. My daughter was also intubated (25 weeker)

How many weeks adjusted is she? We have OT work with our babies and give them until at least 42 weeks before we consider GT. I’ve worked at places that teach parents to use NG tubes.

Gtube mom here for almost 1.5 years. A gtube is temporary and easy to remove. It was the safest decision for our son and overall it’s very easy to use.

I’m a gtube mama. We had to get a gtube to help my baby grow. He never liked the bottle and after he turned a year started taking everything by mouth including a bottle. Being home helped us a lot

One of my twins girls also took a while to take to the bottle, mam bottle tip 0 was a game changer. Also she will slowly gain her strength, try with 10ml every feed so she can get used to it.

So the only bottle my stinker likes is avima wide neck bottles… but ultimately the gtube is temporary while they figure out this new change

My son was on a g tube while he was in the hospital, they offered to send us home with it but we gave him time and it took him about a week and a half to really take the bottle feeds
