Personally I don’t think this is necessary as long as you sand the walls after the prime coat but otherwise this is a good idea

that's so extra lol. just get a vac attachment or back roll then pole sand.

you know in the 80s and 90s the walls were clean on new work ready to spray now you go on a job and the walls ate covered with drywall dust they over sand it's crazy so yeah I mop the walls you have

The drywall dust is so fine it covers pretty easy

we use leaf blowers to clear the project. removing the dust is a great idea. way better finish on long walls

Aquí en California siempre te exigen que quites el polvo antes de aplicar pva especialmente en proyectos para Apple o Facebook, es improfeccional no hacerlo
