@appyranna: I keep my carrots in a container for organising and fridge aesthetics 🤣,but one thing that pleases me is, they develop sprouts while in the fridge and don't become slimy or soft, I guess this is due to the fact that they are always looking for moisture,so it's not unusual for carrots to grow small roots, they are safe to eat after peeling and washing, don't throw them away.
