She left her waterpot behind and ran to the city to tell others. The waterpot represent her past life, her broken heart, misery because of her rejection. She left all that behind and embraced new life, new beginning, new hope, salvation. Which reminds that God does not look at our past, he doesn't wait until we're perfect for him to bless us. He comes at a time when we are at our lowest, when we're dirty and draped in sin. His power is shown when we are at our weakest. The woman who was rejected by her people became the first witness of Jesus Christ to her people. This is so touching,
