@touch.of.townsend: THAT AFTER 😍😍 I’m still in shock how this is the same furniture! AD I am so proud of how this vintage nightstand set turned out! I couldn’t have done it without my @SCOTT® Home and Auto Scott® Rags in a Box™ getting me through every step of this makeover! HOW I DID IT 👇 - Clean & Fix repairs - Sand to raw wood (80, 150, 220 grit) using an orbital sander - Mix stain/ paint wash - Wipe on 1 coat of stain with Scott® Rags in a box (I use these rags on every single furniture makeover). Then wipe off. - Let it dry for 24 hours and seal with waterbased polyurethane (The stain is a paint wash where you mix about 20% paint to 80% water. I used Fusion Mineral Paint in the color Woodwick for this makeover.) When I saw this set of vintage bedside tables that were solid oak on Facebook marketplace, I knew they had to be mine! I saw their end potential immediately and even created a custom wood stain to give them the furniture makeover they deserved!
