most subcontractors actually fall under the title of employee not contractor. ring Fair Trading and work out where you truly sit so that you have all the information and hopefully feel empowered enough to approach your employer

Just ask for a copy of your contract, without mentioning why. Say you need it for your records. They are legally obliged to provide you with a copy. Make decisions once you are sure of the details.

You should have a superfund member number and login in details for your superfund so you can check how much your super is growing. You should also have a copy of your signed employment contract before commencing work. Who does the wages, can you ask them for a copy of your contract? Does your payslip say who your superfund company is because you could ring them direct and set yourself up. I have a friend in the fitness industry and her super wasn’t being paid at all at one stage and because of the cost of living crisis many people can’t afford a gym membership and many gyms are struggling.

get yr contact first step, contact fair work, if you don't have an accountant get one. often subcontractor pays own super + holiday&sick leave but their hourlly rate is higher to cover this

you can contact Fair Work Ombudsman anonymously where you name is not released, you do have rights, everyone under law does but you need to speak up, remaining quiet won't work love ❤️
