most women have this problem with their haemaglobin and it’s usually due to blood loss from periods. if it’s really affecting you, your gp should help x

Mine was sitting at 21 I needed four bags of blood two bags of iron and I may be on iron supplements for the rest of my life

I guess it depends where u go - 89 isn’t bad at all. Low yes, but not dangerous. Below 30 is bad

89 is sometimes seen as too much iron, anything below 20 is “dangerously low”, if Youre Australian and you’re GP is saying your iron is low you should probably look into seeing a new GP
