We have it set for 14 Feet. When we saw the warnings on the road for this bridge, it was already too late. We know the manufacturer claims we’re 13 FT, 5 IN. But, there’s also a small lift on the front and back of our dually. We’ve also heard that most of the time, these signs say a shorter height than the actual bridge, but we’d never assume that. Backing up would NOT have been a safe or easy task. So, I safely blocked traffic with the Jeep (another pro to having a follow car) and we creeped through. As soon as I could see the A/Cs had some clearance, it was a big sigh of relief. But he still took it slow and easy. I already have bridge anxiety, being the one driving behind and seeing the close calls, but this one made it a hundred times worse! And BOTH of our GPSs went off about 3-4 feet after we were already under giving us a height warning. ⚠️ 🤦🏻‍♀️ Looking at the pictures now, i’m guessing this is a temporary shorter underpass area because of the construction. So, we’re guessing that’s why the Garmin RV GPS wasn’t exactly accurate. We measured our height again after we got to a flat surface and our official measurement is actually 13 FT, 6 IN when we’re hitched up and flat.
