@mfahadnaimb: "This condition is referred to as a 'candle fire' phenomenon due to oil accumulating in the exhaust plug cavity. A candle fire involves smoke and possible flames inside the center plug cavity or exhaust. On Airbus A321 CFM56 engines, this is known as an engine tailpipe fire, while on A321 LEAP-1A engines, it is termed smoke or fire in the CVT (center vent tube). Oil puddling in the CVT is a normal condition that can cause fire. To troubleshoot, we dry crank the engine to extinguish flames, clean the oil accumulation, and perform several inspections on oil pressure and oil consumption. The aircraft is not grounded in such cases, provided that the troubleshooting manual is followed and all inspection checks are within limits.##avgeek #aircraftengineer #aviation #aircraftmaintenance #airbusa321
