@startabusinesswithme: I just love learning lessons and wasting money - it’s why I decided to start businesses…. Anyway hopefully I can save you all some time and money if you are deciding on software for your business I just ran an expensive test for you and thrivecart isn’t worth it. The UX is awful. There are better solutions out there. Let’s try Kajabi. 😭🤪🤣 #startabusiness #businesstok #businessadvice #businesstips #software #techtok #onlinebusiness
what made you pick this over something like stripe checkout?

depending on what you're trying to achieve Kajabi might not be the answer either - I've used, tried and implemented just about everything for clients over the years lemme know if you want some ideas!

If you want complete autonomy over design etc and are happy to self build, look up the membership guys. As part of their membership you get step by step tutorials on setting everything up. 👌

IF...you can legitiamelly claim that the software is not fit for the purpose they have advertised, you should be able to get a refund.

Thrivecart works, but Woocommerce is highly configurable. What is the issue? Most of the ux's are pants.

I’ve done the same. I thought the thrivecart checkout would be better than kajabi. It’s not. I’ve been with kajabi for 5 years and it’s been great - it’s grown with my business as it’s evolved

Yeah I have tried loads of software. Sometimes the actual UX and usability of the software sucks. I am building my own Saas and it might just be for me so I can save money 😅

If you bought it on a credit card then you should have a cooling off period of 14 days. May be worth pursuing 🤷♂️

As a webdev myself I hate Thrivecart products, but my advice would be run with what you have if its working despite the issues and then move to a more suitable platform when its for the right reasons.

I’ve got previous thrivecart which the carts are better. Don’t use kajabi.c it’s so expensive if you only want checkouts and to build pages is HORRIBLE! Try Simvoly, mega affordable and easy UX.

It’s so ugly init for the ‘sales page’ stuff, very out dated. Just use it for a checkout link and create a pretty page somewhere else. I use it to host my courses though I love the style for that

If you paid for it outright, you have a 14-day cooling-off period to get a full refund. Hopefully, you are still within the 14 days.
I fell into that trap years ago with Infusionsoft. Lesson learned!
