I wasn’t dilating past a 4 after my water had been broken for 13 hours and had to use pitocin in order to dilate faster so I didn’t go over 24 hours and get an infection 🤦♀️

I needed it for all 3 of my pregnancies because I never dilated even though I was in labor with my girls. My last pregnancy didn't even move along enough that I ended up with a c- section

I’m pregnant right now. Pitocin was used for my first delivery as it was slow progressing. Roughly 24 hours in labor even with that. This is terrifying. I don’t want to be here anymore.

Omg I had it to induce each of my live child’s labor. First one I labored for 46 hours, had to have my water manually broke and still pushed for 2 hours. It was my only “drug”

my child was well over the due date so I had to be induced, plus I was high risk for severe bleeding they had me ready in case in a transfusion. those meds helped a rough labor/birth for us.
