realistically, wouldnt it make sense for both consoles to plug into the network switch if they both run dante? then they all have access to the same signals without affecting the other

I’m 99% sure most digital snakes operate in a way that one console has control over head amp gain… It’s usually the console that everything is clocked to.

MIDAS has DL231, a stage box with two individual preamps per channel. Individual ADC converter individually clocked. It also works as 3 way split. Neat.

Don't Presonus have a digital rack split with CAT outputs that actually semi solves this issue without just using trim? I recall I heard something about it
