This is exactly what I do too, except for the part where you add more gel halfway through diffusing, I’m definitely going to try that next time! I usually diffuse my hair in sections while sitting crisscross on the couch, drinking coffee and watching TikToks, because it takes forever and it’s the only way to keep my adhd brain from rebelling 😅

brushing dry + not brushing while wet is the ONLY thing that works for my hair. brushing while it’s wet makes my waves so stringy

This vid is 6 mo old, but ima try it. I only use distilled water so it’ll be detangle, oil, wet, conditioner, shampoo, rinse, shampoo, rinse, mousse, gel, dry (gentle but can’t find diffuser), gel. I think a similar texture, but older, less dense, and color treated.
