Be careful if you have a gas stove. They have a consistent flame that could start that on fire.

Hi love! Please be so careful with using anything as a stove cover because I did and I loved mine and my house caught fire behind my stove and the damn thing exploded and made the fire so much worse.

IMO, I would not leave anything unsupervised on my stovetop that can burn. It’s a fire hazard. If a burner somehow gets turned on, or power surge, you’re looking at a house fire.

psa: use these when you need more counterspace and not using the stove, otherwise when you're not in the kitchen, put it away. if something happens when you're unaware, the cover could make it worse

This would’ve SAVED me 3 year ago when I moved into my apartment that had a stovetop bigger than available counter space. I never cooked because I didn’t have the room to prep food people are just mad for no reason

I think the difference they're trying to point out is that a typical stove cover you can put hot things straight out of the oven like you would on a stove but you can't do that on a cutting board

I keep a large cutting board on my glass stove top so if I drop something on it, I don't chip/crack the stove top. I don't get why people are so mad about this.

I LOVE my massive cutting board (it lives in my stove top) and I use it and it’s a pain to clean. Doesn’t even fit in the sink 😂❤️
