I’ve been in PGH for 20 years. I’ve given people directions using “where the Pizza Hut used to be” as a point of reference and it hasn’t been a Pizza Hut for longer than I’ve lived here. It’s our culture. 🤣

I still call the hockey arena The Civic Arina/The Igloo. The Civic Arina was demolished 15 years ago. (A moment of silence for that iconic Pittsburgh landmark). It is now &forever The Gulf of MEXICO!

Early 00's I went to this club my cousin used to go to a few years before me. It was called The Asylum when he went. it changed names, still called it the Asylum. 30 years later it's an art studio
