I started thinking of electricity as less of a flow and more of a calculation. How quickly can the atoms in a material flip between positive and negative, how many atoms are available, and how fast the pressure is to change state. It's more of a calculation or operation than a "flow"

The electrons hardly move at all, so this is a wrong picture. What actually happens: a field is created around the wires that travels.

What do you mean "some schools"? We all have to teach conventional current because the the current must be in the same direction as the electric field. Inconvenient, I know.

If I remember it correctly electrons don’t move in a sense we understand moving

if it moves from positive to negative to positive then why does the positive side shock hotter

no, the electrons don't move ar all.
it is a field situation.

electricity is not in the electrons themselves, it's transferred through the air via electromagnetic and magnetic fields that the circuit creates

The white spark you see in static electricity is a visible manifestation of electrostatic discharge (ESD), or simply a static discharge, where excess charge is neutralized by a flow of charges, often

Theres conventional current and Real current. convention current is a simplified as moving from positive to negative however that is in fact wrong the same way in elementary school they tell you

Basic understanding, that later you learn is not really right.
Put a cable under water and it doesn't work. Since the electricity is actually a field AROUND THE WIRE. The wire is a facilitator.
