I like Kendrick’s work because he makes me think outside my circle of what I know. It speaks to me that he didn’t conform to expectations as a kid or as a rap artist. Like why would he conform now?

I miss the days where rap and hip hop was less mainstream. This was the only half time Ive ever tuned into. Why? Bc if I know I dont care for the artist or their genre I just dont tune in. I dont feel a need to tune in just to say I hated something I already knew I wouldnt like. We need to start having more frequent opinions about the CMA’s etc… since this what we doin now apparently😒
