There was a lawsuit, everyone that had issues got their's replaced. I took mine to the dealership and got it fixed for free

It’s called a ghost screen happened to mine took it to Mazda and they fixed it was covered by my warranty

There’s videos on YouTube on how to remove the ribbon behind the screen that creates this issue. Makes touchscreen unusable but I never use it anyway. Lol

Ours is a 2018 and it glitches and will start calling people, rewinding songs, freezing etc. was due to get it fixed but now our EPB has locked up 😭
