@wcnc_charlotte: A South Carolina man who discovered a slave cemetery on his property has spent the last two years preserving the site. The man told WCNC Charlotte that he's opened the property to guests, allowing them to see the harsh reality of slavery and forced labor in South Carolina. "We want folks to just see the human toll that in this little corner of South Carolina that slavery had," he said. "It's not taught, sort of hand waved past in school."
