less than a dollar? Girl i dont know anything about pokemon cards but even i know you can sell them for pretty good amount. The happy meal ones will become rare since you can only get them for a limit

i mean if the stuff is in good shape you can always donate (if you want to) and for the pokemon cards, some of them go away for high prices 🤷🏻♀️

I get it. I also get that all of that could be in one of those bags for kids at thrift stores. They are cheap & I know they bring kids that don’t have money joy! Throwing things that could be loved

I think a lot of people have trauma from parents tossing away collections without permission. My mom tossed half my collections as a kid so I still flinch a bit when I see some things get thrown out.

I don't think people realize you can sell pokemon cards BUT the more pricey ones are way older year, ones with wrong color art, etc. not every card is worth more. lot of them are less then $1

I think the guilt over getting rid of things stops so many people from decluttering. But living in a hoard is so much worse than throwing something out that has served its purpose.
