To be honest, when i was a kid we had to write in cursive or we failed whatever homework or notes we were doing that day😭 Im only 20 when did they stop teaching cursive

My eldest & youngest sons, 28 & 16, were taught cursive and can read my cursive just fine. However, schools here didn't teach it for about 4 yrs so my middle son, 24, cannot read nor write cursive.

My 9th grade daughter was taught cursive in school some and she learned more of it in dyslexia classes. It helped her writing with having dyslexia so much!

I work in a colonial historic house and uoung visitors are amazed I can read the historic documents on display😂. And colonial is difficult because oh how they use the letters “f” and “s”
