Day 9 — The Scar Is Not the Wound Some wounds stay visible long after they've healed. Sometimes they're physical. Sometimes they're emotional. Sometimes nobody can see them at all. But here's something I've learned: A scar isn't proof that you're still bleeding. It's proof that something happened... and your body, heart, or spirit worked to survive it. We don't have to be ashamed of our scars. We don't have to hide them. And we don't have to make them beautiful for anyone else. They're simply evidence. I was hurt. I healed. I'm still here. 🌿 Soul Reflection What part of my story am I finally able to look at without becoming that wounded version of myself again? ✨ Affirmation of the Day I honor my scars as evidence of my journey, not proof that I am broken. 🌸 Sacred Practice Find a physical object that has been through something. An old piece of jewelry. A worn book. A cracked mug. A weathered stone. Look at it. Notice the imperfections. Then ask yourself: “Can something carry evidence of what it has survived and still be beautiful?” Let the answer find you. 💜 Share Your Heart What is one scar—visible or invisible—that reminds you how far you've come? Love & Gratitude, ~Sherry #wisdom #ReclaimYourLife #learning #sherrysreikisanctuary #fyp
