heavy bowgun main here. it's all about position And patience. you can also run a decent amount of support depending on the ammo.

Everybody is saying they’re going to do a heavy weapon in a light weapon. You can swap two weapons, but you can’t swap your armor sets to go with the weapon in a fight.

I believe the hbg has auto guard, the guard itself is for a heavier block (could he wrong but that's how it was in the last game and the first beta)

sucks that LBG and HBG seem so similar mechanically now. Their special abilities are basically the same. Having Wyvern blast as the special ability on the LGB was great.

Hbg main at least in world it’s a great support weapon if you have friends working with you, also it’s other special ammo type wyvernsnipe does amazing damage and can stagger, not sure if it’s in wild

I don't know exactly how it happened, but playing with hbg yesterday, whenever I was aiming, I was blocking attacks as long as I was facing the attack and not attacking

as HBG main in Worlds and LBG main in Rise, im going back to LBG, doing wound attacks in the HBG takes 100 years to set up its really bad
