@itsabiribrahim: #NelsonMandela’s first diplomatic passport wasn’t #SouthAfrican, it was #Sudanese. Sudan was the first African country to cut ties with apartheid alongside #Ghana and #Guinea, blocking trade and denying access to its airspace and ports. It led African nations at the UN in 1963, demanding sanctions against apartheid—years before the West took action. It also hosted #MalcolmX in 1959, where he saw #Black #leadership on a national scale, shaping his Pan-African views. It was a hub for anti-colonial resistance, funding and arming fighters from #Algeria to #Mozambique, and training ANC fighters in #Khartoum to resist the #apartheid regime. #Sudan has always fought for #Africa—so why do we overlook Sudanese struggles today?
Sudan was there for everyone arab or African, Muslims and Christians but when we needed them we found silence which was disappointing to say the least,,, thank you for talking about Sudan 🇸🇩

The real Madiba never went into hiding, only three countries provided apartheid South Africa with sanctuary, South Africans know that very well, Sudan is not on the list
