میں نے کہیں پڑھا تھا کہ جب جانا اللہ کے پاس ہی ہے، تو زندہ چلے جانا زیادہ بہتر ہے۔ پہلے یہ جملہ پڑھ کر گزر گیا تھا۔ پھر نہ جانے کیوں ایک دن دل میں اتر گیا۔ سوچا… واقعی، جب آخرکار جانا اسی کے پاس ہے تو پھر ہم ساری عمر جا کہاں رہے ہیں؟ دل نے کہا:
میں نے کہیں پڑھا تھا کہ جب جانا اللہ کے پاس ہی ہے، تو زندہ چلے جانا زیادہ بہتر ہے۔ پہلے یہ جملہ پڑھ کر گزر گیا تھا۔ پھر نہ جانے کیوں ایک دن دل میں اتر گیا۔ سوچا… واقعی، جب آخرکار جانا اسی کے پاس ہے تو پھر ہم ساری عمر جا کہاں رہے ہیں؟ دل نے کہا: "دنیا میں۔" میں نے پوچھا: "اور اللہ؟" دل خاموش ہو گیا۔ شاید ہم اللہ کو بھولتے نہیں، بس اپنی زندگی میں اسے بہت پیچھے چھوڑ دیتے ہیں۔ خواہشیں آگے نکل جاتی ہیں، انا آگے نکل جاتی ہے، لوگ کیا کہیں گے، یہ آگے نکل جاتا ہے، اور انسان اپنے رب کی رضا کو کہیں بہت پیچھے چھوڑ آتا ہے۔ پھر کبھی دل تھک کر پوچھتا ہے: "یہ سب کب تک؟" اور اندر سے ایک آواز آتی ہے: "جب تک تمہیں یہ سمجھ نہیں آتا کہ جس چیز کے پیچھے بھاگ رہے ہو، وہ تمہاری منزل نہیں ہے۔" شاید اسی لیے کہتے ہیں مرنے سے پہلے مر جاؤ۔ جسم کو نہیں… اپنی انا کو۔ اپنی اس ضد کو جو ہر حال میں اپنی مرضی چاہتی ہے۔ اپنی اس خواہش کو جو ملنے والی نعمتوں سے زیادہ نہ ملنے والی چیزوں کا ماتم کرتی ہے۔ اپنے اس غرور کو جو اللہ کے سامنے جھکنے سے پہلے دنیا کے سامنے سر اٹھانا ضروری سمجھتا ہے۔ "مگر کیا انسان اتنا آسانی سے بدل سکتا ہے؟" نہیں… میں بھی نہیں بدل پاتا۔ کبھی نفس جیت جاتا ہے، کبھی خواہش، کبھی غصہ، کبھی وہ چیز جسے میں جانتا بھی ہوں کہ میرے رب کو پسند نہیں۔ پھر دل شرمندہ ہو کر کہتا ہے: "تو پھر کیا کروں؟" شاید بس واپس آ جاؤں۔ ہر بار۔ گر کر بھی۔ ٹوٹ کر بھی۔ اپنی کمزوریوں سمیت۔ کیونکہ شاید اللہ کو ہمارے بے عیب ہونے سے زیادہ اپنا محتاج ہونا پسند ہے۔ میں سوچتا ہوں، موت کے دن اللہ کے پاس تو سب نے جانا ہے، مگر میں نہیں چاہتا کہ میری موت میری پہلی واپسی ہو۔ میں چاہتا ہوں کہ اس سے پہلے ہی میرا دل تیرے سامنے جھکنا سیکھ جائے، مولا۔ میری ضد تیرے حکم کے سامنے خاموش ہو جائے، میری انا تیرے سامنے پگھل جائے، اور میری خواہشیں اتنی بے قابو نہ رہیں کہ مجھے تیری رضا بھی اپنی خواہش سے کم لگنے لگے۔ شاید زندہ چلے جانا یہی ہے… کہ انسان سانس لیتے ہوئے ہی اپنے رب کی طرف پلٹنا شروع کر دے۔ دنیا میں رہے، مگر دنیا کو دل میں نہ بسائے۔ لوگوں کے درمیان رہے، مگر اپنی اصل منزل نہ بھولے۔ اور جب ایک دن واقعی جانا ہو، تو دل کو یہ نہ کہنا پڑے: "یا اللہ… کاش میں نے زندگی میں ہی تیری طرف رخ کر لیا ہوتا۔" بلکہ دل مطمئن ہو کر کہے: "مولا… میں آ رہا ہوں، راستہ نیا نہیں ہے۔ میں نے تو بہت پہلے اپنا رخ تیری طرف کر لیا تھا۔" آخر جانا تو وہیں ہے… تو کیوں نہ مرنے سے پہلے ہی اپنا دل وہاں پہنچا دیں؟
