No idea how but when I was 10 - 12 my then instructor always put me on an old but head strong and forwards mare i loved but wasn’t ready for. I can’t swing my leg over properly bevause of her walking from the block too soon and me not being able to in time. I’m fine jumping straight 30-85cm but crosspole scare me shitless because she always flung me into them and my instructor never told me how to fix my riding to get past that and stop it happening. I also have a fear of jumping new horses bevause that one instructor didn’t teach and just let us ride :) 0/10 NOT fun
