How do you stop this? I get you talk to the kid but that’s not going to stop him. At our library if you don’t check out the book an alarm goes off at the door maybe you need this.

I had a student that did this too!! Parent returned the books a few weeks ago…23 books that were either “lost” or just taken from the library!!!

my elementary, middle and high school had like metal detectors for books so people couldn't just walk out with them.

I'm just happy that the mum noticed and actually took action. We loose kindergarten toys, clearly marked, and somehow they never return even when we make a missing post 🤷♀️🤷♀️

I felt bad because my 4yo checked out a library book at school and when I told him to put it away (I meant backpack) he put it on his bedroom book shelf instead. It was “missing” for months 🫣

Ughhh this happens to me constantly! My space is used in the evenings for middle school stuff and one kid had walked off with HALF the I survived books over the course of last semester. 😩😩
