Babel took me almost 7 months to read and it still ended up being one of my fav books of all time! it may seem slow in the beginning but it ties together all so beautifully (& tragically) at the end

I think Hanya Yanagihara is a talented writer. That said, why she chose to use those talents to write A Little Life is beyond me. It’s gratuitous trauma.

I liked Circe MUCH more than SoA. Read it in a day. Station Eleven is like LitFic SciFi - character/story driven. Reading Wedding People now and it's cute but not life changing.

The goldfinch is definitely a daunting one- but I read it when I was getting back into reading a few years back and I LOVED it. Slow paced, but never boring and such an interesting story

Scythe is an AMAZING series. I’ve read it a long time ago now, but am planning to reread it soon because it’s one of my favorite series. Very interesting take on death and the “grim reaper” like character
