Late to this but have you tried micellar water as dry shampoo? Lmk if you thought it was worth it! As a cosmetic chemist, I just cant see how this would actually help oily hair.. the reason micellar water cleanses your face is because you’re applying it with the cotton round or face cloth and wiping away the makeup/oils etc. K18 air wash dry shampoo works a bit differently to these, but still has silica as one of the main oil absorbents. Dry shampoos are usually less about cleansing and more about drying up the oils on your hair with powder (like with starches, silicas etc) #micellarwater #dryshampoo #cosmeticchemist #dryskin #sensitiveskin #sensitiveskincare #micellarwaterhacks #skincarehacks #overhyped #greenscreen
