Don Cheadle is such a good Rhodey but I’ll always think Terrance was the perfect Rhodey bc I think the chemistry btw characters w them was so much more… natural? ig for lack of better words iykwim

I know there was issues with Terrance wanting to be paid more but sorry to Don Cheadle but I actually believe Terrance's Rhodey and Tony were long term friends. I didn't get that with Cheadle

something about the desperation and fear in Terrance’s voice cuz he was scared for Tony… oh that’s real cinema.

“Cause of our death” being Tony stopping selling weapons is brutal cause Rhodes felt personally betrayed in that scene

I think it was so unfair for don bc he wasn’t given the first movie to establish that chemistry with Tony with his character so it falls flat later

Don was a better Rhodey as an individual character, but Terrence was a better Rhodey as Tony's friend

The Man :
I think Terrence Howard did an incredible job as Rhodey before he gets War Machine/Iron Patriot but I don't think I could see anyone else playing post Iron Man 1 Rhodey than Don Cheadle
