I’ve been working with my awesome trainer, Andrea, at 24 Hour Fitness, and we’ve set our sights on achieving unassisted pull-ups in the coming months. 💪 During our workout, we focused on some key exercises that are helping me build the strength needed for those pull-ups. First is the lat pull-down, targeting my lats. It’s incredible to feel those muscles engaging and working together. Next, we tackled the rear delt fly, and Andrea emphasized the importance of a strong core, comparing it to a balloon. Inhaling, holding, and then releasing as I lift the weights to keep me solid. We also worked on face pulls, which target a different part of the back, highlighting the coordination of the shoulder blades. Finally, we moved on to assisted pull-ups, using various bands to challenge me. I switched between wide and inner grips, which not only rounded out my strength but also focused on the lats and biceps. Andrea’s guidance has been instrumental in refining my technique and approach.
