@thechronicillnesshub: seeing chronic illness rep on tv is so rare, regardless of which illness is it, there’s very few shows i can think for that have chronic illness rep and i think that waterloo road has described it perfectly. although i don’t have endo and the road to diagnosis of chronic illness is typically a lot longer, seeing some of these scenes made me feel like younger me going through diagnosis all over again ❤️🩹 thank you waterloo road and @summer 🎀 #chronicillness #chronicillnessawareness #dynamicdisability #waterlooroad #tonyawalters
I SOBBED at this storyline, hit very close to home but little me would have felt incredibly seen if I had this when I was 16

I remember at school I was in so much pain with my period, I fainted in the bathroom. Nurse didn’t believe me and wouldn’t come to help so had to hobble through corridors until I get to her

I have suffered with endo since I was 11 and I’m 27 now and I always sit and think how cruel school was for me and all the other girls having to go through it I wish there was something I could do💔💔

This storyline reminds me so much of how I felt in secondary school. My attendance was good but my concentration was not. How do you concentrate when your in pain and nauseous 3 weeks out of 4

Its so hard to be undiagnosed trying your best and failing bc your health and mental health is in the way and have no answer to give when asked why, bc no one has cared enough to look for a diagnosis

It’s nice seeing it being played by someone who’s younger aswell. I’m 19 and for about a decade it’s gotten progressively worse where now I’m like bed-ridden 24/7 or in hospital or gp ❤️

Endo is brutal. At my worst, I was in pain 24/7, could barely walk and couldn't function. It's not just period pains, it's so much more.🥺
