My mom had this on her last days on Hospice, had a foley 11 days, day 5 it started turning color & by day 7 it was ‘Royal Purple’. Nothing could save her, but this would’ve been nice to know.

Seeing the blood clot pass after they replaced the bulb for a client's catheter caused concern. I tried to explain the doctor had told me that would happen. Everyone freaked out anyway. 🤷♀️

I have worked in Urology for the past 10 years. I cringe when Foley patients come in with a purple bag. You can usually smell it when they walk in 🤢 Hard to get out of your nose!

The strangest color I’ve ever seen is fluorescent yellow… Kinda look like a highlighter yellow. And that was my urine right before for my gallbladder came out.
