@scott_diy: Building SOLID kitchen cabinets ✅ Still Lots of work to go into these cabinets to finish them but I love the strength of these 18mm MDF carcasses with a melamine face. #DIY #homerenovation #ukhomerenovation #kitchen #kitchenrenovation #cabinets #kitchencabinets
They look good, just my OCD brain - would of preferred the edged mitered so you don't see any of the MDF on the joins 😅

I’m just happy to see someone making cabs without an impact driver smashing the guts out of it 😂👏🏻

Great call. Wish I’d used melamine coated MDF. Had mine for a couple of years and they’re beginning to fail. What’s the supplier please? Wonder about the melamine options & MDF grades like green?

Just fitting my kitchen now, dont know if its stronger but the side panels are long, top and bottom within the sides, the little tabs on the legs hold up the sides

Why aren’t cabinets usually done with miter cuts?

Nice. Probably about 3x more robust than your standard flat pack chipboard kitchen cabinets.

OMG it’s a miracle. You managed to screw the base/top onto the cheek without the TikTok corner vice 😂😂😂 Nice job mate.

I must be too heavy handed, 50% of the time I split the mdf when screwing into the edge 😆

nice job. although with mdf i wouldn’t say the word solid is being used loosely! but that is modern kitchens.
