When fat loss stalls, most people immediately think: “Eat less and do more cardio.” Sometimes that works. But sometimes you need to fix the basics first. 1️⃣ Check your tracking If oils, sauces, drinks, snacks, or weekends aren’t being tracked accurately, adding more cardio may just be covering up the real issue. 2️⃣ Look at your total daily movement You can do 30 minutes of cardio and still barely move the rest of the day. Your overall activity matters too. 3️⃣ Make sure you’re recovering If you’re lifting hard, doing cardio often, and eating in a deficit, recovery can eventually take a hit. 4️⃣ Watch your gym performance If your strength keeps dropping and your legs always feel dead, adding even more cardio might not be the smartest move. 5️⃣ Don’t react to a few bad weigh-ins Carbs, sodium, water, digestion, and stress can all hide fat loss temporarily. Give the trend time before changing the plan. 6️⃣ Use cardio strategically I do cardio regularly because I enjoy it and it helps me keep my activity high. But the goal isn’t to see how much cardio you can survive. 7️⃣ Increase it only when needed If your nutrition is accurate, activity is consistent, and your weight trend truly stalls, then a small increase in cardio or decrease in calories can make sense. Cardio is a great tool. More just isn’t automatically better. Use enough to help you reach your goal without wrecking your recovery, training performance, or consistency. Save this before you automatically add more cardio to your cut. My Aggressive Cut Guide is linked in my bio for the full step-by-step approach to getting shredded quickly while keeping as much muscle as possible 🤝 #foryou #becklifts #fatloss #gymmotivation
