So my mother in law has a very young horse and i help like take care of it, the horse is a little wild and i want to learn how to do ground work with the horse to let it build trust with me and my mother in law… any tips? I have ridden horses in the past and know some stuff about riding but not much about groundwork… any tips are welcome! 🥰

yes yes yes 👏🏻 as much as I love riding I prefer walks with my horse or just sitting with him in his pasture and spending time together outside arena

I love it too, and so do my horses, my oldest is usually not even held, he will wait for me, when he's gone ahead, even when there's a full bucket of food waiting for him at home 🤍

Did this with a horse that wouldn’t let anyone near her (2hour walk) and now she lets people come to her in the paddock😊

I bring my mare to a lake every summer where we have our traditional picnic. I bring her apples and such and then we just lay in the grass or bathe in the pond. She loves it 🥹
