@traveltomtom: The abandonned village in UAE is taken over by sand and became a tourist attraction. I was expecting something different and may be my expectations were too high, but personally I was a bit underwhelmed. Still it is a cool place to visit in UAE and especially a cool thing to do in Dubai when you have seen it all. From Dubai it is just about an hour drive, so cool activity when on a road trip in UAE. Just fun to visit but keep in mind it is now a tourist destination and it closes at 18:00. There is a gate and a guard. Entrance is free. To get to the ghost village with a normal car dont follow the directions from Google Maps. If you follow Google Maps you will need a 4x4 car. There are friendly locals that are willing to take you but they charge you $10 USD for a 3 minute ride. If you come with a normal car then follow the directions for 'Madam Industrial' with coordinates: (24.8906196, 55.7686317) From these coordinates you can directly drive up to the gate of the Al Madam Buried Ghost Village. #dubai #uae
