European mounts are actually cut flat on the back side to mount flat on a plaque or wall. That is just known as a skull. But those hangers seem perfect for hanging skulls.

I bought the larger pack, and they did not hang the skulls very sturdy. I decided not to use them because I didn’t want to risk them falling. I sent them back.

I use a l bracket and a 3 inch bolt bend the l bracket to whatever angle you want the longer bolt u use the further away from the wall . It gives the appearance of the skull floating
