I disagree, desk should be facing window so their is no glare on computer screen and so person can look outside while they work, also makes the space feel more open when working beacuse of the window

on that position the light coming from the window will be reflecting on the pc screen , and for webcam calls the light will be terrible too.

I don't agree with this one! if you switch the position of the monitor to the stairs you're gonna get all that glare from the window and what if you accidentally knocked it over the stairs??
