Once a month on a Friday or Saturday, my mom would buy me a sprite and a honeybun. Never enjoyed the Love Boat and Fantasy Island so much!! So glad I grew up knowing that was a treat, not a staple!

you know, a long time ago when you were on food stamps, you were only allowed to buy the essentials, flour, bread, milk, sugar. things like that you couldn't buy lobster shrimp $50 steaks.
